HTC Titan
The HTC Titan is a tablet that works on a Windows platform, and as released by the company at around September 2011. With a 4.7 inch screen, it contains an area wide enough for all the viewing that a person requires from a tablet. It has a 1.3MP camera, and runs on a 1.5GHz processor. This is quite fast for a mobile phone. Most computers have a lower processing speed than this. It also contains a fixed storage space of 16GB and an internal memory of 512MB. At the time this new phone was being unveiled, the manufacturer termed it as the newest and largest Windows phone in the market.
One of the biggest worries for the phone is the size thereof. With the 4.7inch screen display, it may seem that the general body of the phone is a bit too bulky for a phone. Some have argued that it does not come in handy, especially for the people who fancy skinny jeans, and would like to tack in everything in the pockets. Nevertheless, it compensates this mishap with the thin form that it comes with.
The phone has a 9.9mm slim factor that seems to be good enough for the market. To add to this, the phone weighs at 160 grams, which is quite light for these kinds of phones. The other good thing about having such dimensions is simply the fact that the there is a lot of room to key in data using the phone. This is an undoing for most of the brands, since there is some potential struggle while typing using touch screen phones. The ease in typing is unmatched; therefore if the user is able to handle the size of the HTC Titan, it would be one of the best handsets in the market for him.
The resolution of the phone is at 800 by 480. Many people speculate that though there are better offers for the resolution, the manufacturer would have to bare with this situation since the OS needed could only handle as much. Nevertheless, the sharpness and brightness that the phone displays is enough for the user to enjoy different application views.
The black painted body is yet another feature that is a under criticism. Though it has a body that has a superb finish, the paint job is such that it fades away whenever the user deals with it for a long period of time. The owner should enjoy the phone but be a little cautious of the outer coating.
